- 1st prize
(£50): Shannen Heaney
'This picture
was taken in June 2008 in Portrush. This picture represents my life
in Northern Ireland as it shows me and two of my friends eating pizza
on the streets of Portrush. Just like typical teenagers we didn't
have a care in the world, and the key to our day was to have a good
laugh.'

- 2nd prize
(£30): Catherine Quinn
'This photo was
taken in July 2008. I think it represents my life as a 16 year old
as it shows me and my friends having a laugh during the summer months.
Although it was freezing that particular day in Bundoran we insisted
on wearing shorts and going into the sea! This shows us on our way
to the beach wearing sunglasses and acting cool - not having a care
in the world what others think...just like a 16 year old should.'

- 3rd prize
(£20): Colin Stevenson
'This picture was taken in January 2008 in Coalisland.
This is what I live for... football. Winning the Rannafast Cup showed
me that NI is truely aware of talent and it gives rewards to offer
that potential.'
