Description:

The Attitudes to Peace Walls research study was carried out by researchers at the University of Ulster in 2012. The research comprised two separate postal surveys which sought to explore public awareness of and attitudes towards peace walls.

This survey was of the general population: 611 people responded, a response rate of 32%. The other survey was of those living close to peace walls and the data and tables from that are also available from this site.

Tables of results are available for men/women, 3 age bands and Catholic/Protestant. Figures for other religious groups are not presented due to small numbers.
