  • The Men's Health Forum in Ireland (MHFI) is a voluntary network of individuals and organisations, men and women, who wish to redress this deficit by collating the key concerns relating to men's health on the island of Ireland as well as increasing understanding of these issues. On their website is a report on Men's Health in Ireland, which provides a comprehensive overview of key statistics on men's health on the island of Ireland. It also makes a number of recommendations for improving the health of local men in the future.
  • The European Men's Health Forum aims to improve men’s health across all countries in Europe by promoting collaboration between organisations and individuals on the development and application of health-related policies, research, education and prevention programmes. The site includes a report on policy and progress across 11 countries.
  • Getting Inside Men's Health, by Noel Richardson, provides an introduction to men's health issues in Ireland, as well as reporting on qualitative and quantitative research studies.
  • Facing the Challenge - The Impact of the Recession and Unemployment on Men's Health in Ireland, by Brian Dillon and Paul Butler, was commissioned by the Institute for Public Health in Ireland, and published in 2011
  • The Men's Health Forum in UK web site is aimed at health professionals, researchers and policy-makers and provides statistics, examples of good practice, resource lists and links on men's health issues.
  • Medical News Today collates health-related articles from a range of medical journals, and includes a specialist section on Men's Health.
  • The Men's Project aims to tackle the issues facing local men and boys. The website includes a photographic exhibition called Images of Men and a list of web resources.
  • The Joseph Rowntree Foundation is a major funder of policy-related research in the UK, whose publications are available online, including those relating to men, and to fathers.
  • The Fatherhood Institute is an interactive site dedicated to supporting positive images/models of fatherhood.
  • XY is a website focused on men, masculinities, and gender politics. As well as a forum for debate, the site provides a resource library for reports, articles and manuals.
  • Social Focus on Men, produced by National Statistics, provides an overview of the changing lives and roles of men in the United Kingdom.
  • The responsibility of the Gender Equality Unit within the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister is to develop and implement a Gender Equality Strategy to tackle inequalities between men and women, and boys and girls where that inequality relates to their gender, marital or relationship status, whether or not they have dependants or caring responsibilities or are transgendered.
  • The Equality Commission for Northern Ireland is an independent public body established under the Northern Ireland Act 1998, and replaces the Equality Opportunities Commission for Northern Ireland. One of its responsibilities is sex discrimination.
