Murchana Kaushik 
 

Murchana commenced her PhD ‘Intergenerational communication for social change in sectarian societies’ in April, 2021, under the Tezpur University-Queen’s University Belfast programme. 

This project will try to understand intergenerational communication (solidarity, differences) and its role in the development and transmission of political views. The study field will focus on the ethno nationality based issues of Assam, India, with comparative inputs from the sectarian politics of Northern Ireland.

Murchana is supervised by Dr Gemma Carney (ARK) and co-supervised by Dr. Nirmali Goswami, Tezpur University, Assam, India.
