Representing Age – launch of BSG NI

To launch the Northern Ireland Branch of the British Society of Gerontology, an event Representing Age took place on Wednesday 22 April 2015.  Professor Julia Twigg (University of Kent) focused on her research on clothes, fashion and age.

Professor Maeve Rea (Queen’s University Belfast) talked about Super Vivere: Reflections on long life and ageing well.

The event was held in the magnificant surroundings of the Arts Council headquarters in MacNiece House, 77 Malone Road, Belfast

During the event, participants reflected on fashion, age and age-appropriate dress.
